Consulting and Services

My consulting services are focused in STEM faculty development, international education consulting, and capacity building in higher education.

This work bridges U.S. and global contexts, advancing equity-centered teaching, cross-cultural STEM/STEAM pedagogy, and transformative learning environments at colleges and universities.

I have also professionally consulted on NSF CAREER and NSF IUSE Proposals and served as an External Evaluator for STEM Education grant initiatives.

In addition to consulting work, I also provide one-on-one support for students and faculty, offering compassionate, expert pedagogy training and STEM tutoring.

Faculty Development Workshops

I have supported hundreds of graduate students and faculty in the United States, Portugal, Malawi, and Egypt to develop more effective and inclusive day-to-day teaching and assessment practices. I am happy to create workshops or provide one-on-one support help you, your department, or your university do the same.

Support for International Development Projects

I have extensive experience with U.S.-funded international education initiatives, including multi-year USAID projects in Egypt and Malawi. This work has focused on higher education reform, teacher preparation, and faculty development in partnership with local universities and education ministries.

Program and Grant Evaluation

I have supported grant and program evaluation for STEM Education projects and departmental review for university STEM departments. I have done similar work to support international development organizations as they reorient their mission, goals, programmatic expectations, and outcomes.

Curriculum Design

I have supported course and lesson development for dozens of courses, including biology, environmental science, astronomy, using course-based undergraduate research (CUREs), first-year experience (FYE), transdisciplinary, and other high-impact practice (HIPS) approaches.

Tutoring and Test Prep

I have extensive tutoring experience to support students in middle school, high school, and undergraduate chemistry, biology, physics, and math, including neuro-divergent students, gifted and talented students, and students who are preparing for the SAT, ACT, and MCAT.
